Police will be stopping people on their way home in Devizes tomorrow as part of the Barry Cooper murder inquiry.
They will also be posting leaflets through people's doors at address through the town seeking information.
They want to speak to people to see if they were in the vicinity a week on from the fatal stabbing of Mr Cooper, 28.
He was found bleeding in a stairwell in a block of flats at the far end of Victoria Road, Devizes, just before 5pm last Friday.
He had multiple stab wounds to his neck and died the following day at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.
Wiltshire Police.
Karl Quincey, 32, of Longcroft Avenue, Devizes, has been charged with the murder of Mr Cooper and is in custody. He is due to appear at court in Winchester again on Monday.
